Pros

- Good benefits. CTC structured such that you have good tax benefits. - Salary (CTC): Above industry average - Major portion of variable pay is paid out. - CTC doesnt have any hidden components - Good library facilities that can help in enhancing knowledge levels

Cons

- Very few smart people at all layers. - Most of the management is excel sheet guys. They can be easily replaced with people from non-IT industries. - Technical people are given less importance. Sales guys grow here. - Not much of work-life balance - Very adhoc environment. Project plans are just for name sake. Due to this lot of big projects fail. - People are pushed / forced / treated rudely by some middle level managers. - Performance appraisal process is just for name sake in most of the organization

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
