      Pros

      UBS is a great place to work if you are in front/middle office with its prestige and great work life balance. We have parties after parties and they are very extravagant affairs. Benefits are great

      Cons

      However things are different in the support back office functions. Management often have bad directions or display poor mgt skills of 'cane and stick' method if things go bad and life is v beauracratic

      Pros

      Good Learning opportunities, Tech savvy compared to other banking / fintech companies

      Cons

      Too much offshore, low cost resource strategies, Gap between functional & IT resources, CS merger favored many UBS employees and massive layoffs post UBS - CS merger. Hardly any bonus or pay increments.
