- Reasonable compensation and benefits - Quality of people is generally good - Friendly atmosphere, easy to build your network - Opportunity to move to different roles - open culture with access to senior mangement - generally opportunity take on more responsibility - good place to learn, with good opportunities to advance through the junior ranks (associate director and director)
Cons
- Promotion is not always based upon performance - Need to understand processes and build a network to get things done - Struggling with huge credit crunch losses - Unsure of future for the investment bank - Still more redudancies to come
