Terrible work hours, condescending people - Associate Strategy& Employee Review

When I first joined, I thought consulting meant working on client projects, frequent traveling, and learning at a fast pace. Working on client projects turned out to be a daily list of tasks and analyses nobody has time to teach you how to do; we went fully remote; learning felt stifled and creativity was frowned upon, because all we needed to do was follow directions. People were incredibly condescending and remote work made work/life balance unbearable.
