Pros

Compensation is okay People are nice people focused company You can stay as long as you want if you can follow one simple policy - "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" Benefits are decent but not as good as they boast - check out new policies

Cons

People are nice but not as a team. They play safe game and when you challenge they act as if they do not know what you are talking about. CEO is clueless. Strategy changes after every quarter results. All these years, they wasted tons of money calling it "One Philips" and trying to integrate different divisions and now they are again spending double of it to disintegrate the same. There are managers either who doesn't know what they are doing or those who micro manage veterans like college out kids. And there are managers who just believe that there is nothing beyond their knowledge.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
