Pros

A big company that offers many experiences, job movement, training, good people and advancement

Cons

Big company, narrow in focus, not as employee-friendly as it once was. Overbearing and over demanding when it comes to making unrealistic sales goals. They are out for themselves to make money while holding you accountable for their failure to read the market. They are now pushing to get younger hoping to lower their employee costs. Use them as they'd use you and it can be a win-win, just don't get burned in doing so...

We appreciate that you've taken the time to reflect a bit on your experience working with us for over the past 10+ years. It's great to read there have been quite a lot of opportunities, and there is a lot of focus on training, for the sake of innovation. The way you describe it, it does sound like sometimes task could be delegated better. I hope you've talked about this with the managing team when you were leaving. You can also be sure that managers read these pages as well, so they'll be able to take note of it. As a final note: thank you for your work over the past 10 years with us, it was great having you on board.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
