Pros
Quickly learn insurance, very willing to train you and pay for licensing, learn about many different brands. Employer benefits are usually worth it as glasses are unaffordable through this company without it
Cons
KPIs are incredibly unachievable. Every year the sales goal is anywhere from 150-200% increase from previous year. Not a lot of hands on training, just a lot of slideshows to quickly give you the jist of what to do and to really become a good optician, you must spend many years in this field with lots of failure instead of steady guidance from above as the turnover is high so most don't know the depths of optics as they should but man, do you really know how to sell different brands by typecasting people
