Pros

Brand name on the resume, 25 days vacation for new employees.

Cons

Work life balance is not valued at all. Management will talk all about how they are on the top 100 list for best employers to work for, but all the perks (work life balance, flexible work schedule, etc.) only apply for secretaries in the office (client support staff). No client delivery people (90% of the company) can partake in these perks as you're slaving away at some client site somewhere. Partners will promise the client the moon, and then leave staff to figure out how to deliver. Typical client service, don't think its different from any other Big 4 firm.

Pros

It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

Cons

Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
