Pros

From my view KPMG is one of the big four audit firms where one can grow and learn the different audit techniques and management skills. By using the world wide KPMG network one can learn much about what is happening in the world of accounting and auditing issues and what are the different new techniques for audit profession. KPMG gives oppurtunities on different levels as to what cna be done and how can be done. If you are a professional accountant or a business graduate working in advisory section you can grow to a level by working hard and hard.

Cons

NO work life balance not good rewards appraisal is a bit subjective

Pros

You get to work with an awesome, highly resilient group of local peers in the advisory practice. The KPMG brand still holds value, but the internal team dynamics have become incredibly fractured.

Cons

We have outsourced 80%+ of our Risk Advisory work, leaving onshore seniors with massive gaps in their experience. As a manager, I am stuck doing senior-level work because I typically have only one or zero local seniors or associates on my teams. The best leaders have already resigned because this model prevents actual management and mentoring. Also, it might take you 30+ years to become partner in Risk Advisory, if at all.
