Pros

You won't work holidays or nights. Not a bad soft nursing job. You will make commission on sales of treatments and products.

Cons

You will have to work on sales. The company will take on clients and accept payment from them before reviewing their medical history, so often times clients that have contraindications to treatment will come in excited to receive a service and you have to be the bearer of bad news that they will not be able to get the treatment they booked and paid for and then redirect them to customer service for a refund. The overall business model is very much profits driven to an extent that it will put you as a provider in uncomfortable situations with customers. One of the incentives to working used the be that employees could receive certain free or discounted treatments. After putting in my request and hearing nothing back I was later told that, company wide, this was no longer a bonus. As of september 2024 the company still uses paper charting which creates obstacles as clients can receive services from another location and you have to rely on the other location faxing over their old records which potentially are missing key information about guest history.

Pros

Got to learn about the world of aesthetics. Had the opportunity to receive services as an employee.

Cons

High workload + long hours. Sometimes, there is no time to leave to use the restroom or take your lunch, depending on the manager, Commission + benefit structure constantly changing/getting worse.
