Pros

It baffles me that companies like these still get away with their unethical practices for their clients AND employees. But this is an employee perspective review so I will focus on that. The training is great and that’s where it stops. It does not make sense that they have a revolving door of employees. Hiring 200 people at once for only 3 of them to stay in the end (at least 3 left by the time I left a couple of months in) - Work life balance NON-EXISTENT

Cons

- you should not have to slave yourself away working overtime ALL the time to make a BARELY decent paycheck. This is a sales job so the understanding is there that you have to grind during the time you are there, however it does not mean, work 70 hours to make a barely livable wage. My partner made over 120,000 last year working for his company (NOT ideal image) an average of 40-45 hours a week he had to work hard during his work hours of course but he did not have to Slave away. People working 40-45 hours at ideal image will struggle to make it to 45k. Again, modern day slavery. When their reps realize this is ridiculous and can find a better job that will compensate their work fairly, ideal image will hire another 300 people and so the cycle continues…. - it is NOT base plus commission: this is a draw commission, what this means is that the “base” you’re given, is really you paying the company back for the money they’ve lent you during the first paycheck of the month, once the second paycheck of the month comes around, once you’ve paid back that first paycheck (aka what they call base) THEN you can keep anything additional you’ve made. It’s confusing to explain but basically you will not get base plus commission, ONLY commission which is hard to get to…. - people constantly quitting. My hiring class consisted of almost 100+ people. I was there for about 4 months until I realized this is a scam disguised as a “sales” job. By the time I was headed out the door, only two other people were left. One was waiting to get fired to get unemployment the other had a second job and was doing this as a couple of extra dollars side job (not that she was making much from this “side hustle” but a couple of extra bucks working from home at least) - yes you will work till 11PM EST, yes you will work weekends (SATURDAY and SUNDAY) Your two days off will NEVER be back to back. Example, you might be off Wednesday and Sunday but never Sunday and Monday. - I hope this review discourages ANYONE from giving ideal image a chance. You’re better off working at your local Starbucks until you find something better because your paycheck will avg out about the same as ideal image with the overtime you have to put it.
