Pros

I’ve heard of some people who have been able to get the promised free product as an employee. That would be a perk but for most of us it was impossible to get.

Cons

The salary was less than I made as a RN with benefits. The company made me work 1 hour less than what was required for benefits on purpose. They promised trainings on new procedures monthly and they only ever trained me on laser. They also promised a lot of free treatments that I was unable to get. In order to get this promised benefit you needed to go through an approval process for the procedures that took months for many of us. Then you had To go through a process to get employee product that took months. Then you had to have enough staff on hand a both have breaks on your schedule so that you could get the procedure but if any client wanted that slot they got it. I also couldn’t schedule the free treatments for myself easily because I never worked the same days as those who were trained in those products. The company also changed the free benefit policy while I was working for them and removed some of the benefits. I chose to be ok with the lower salary because of these promised Benefits that they sold hard in the interview process. But when I got hired and started talking to the other employees they said that it was almost impossible to get the promised free treatments. The turnover company wide is very high because the company is not flexible. They knew from the beginning that healthcare insurance was my goal and they didn’t tell me that it was basically decided that my position would never go full time. So when I found a job that was more likely to lead to insurance, I asked it I could go down from 3 days a week to 1 and they refused. They wanted me exactly 1 hour less than full time benefits. I had two attorneys look at the contract prior to signing. They both told me that they would not sign this contract as it is so restrictive and they put bullying language in there. For example, limiting free speech which is against the constitution and not enforceable but was a scare technique. I strongly do not recommend this company. I knew that they were pretty bad before I started because of the contract and some Glassdoor reviews I’d read as well as some chatting with employees, but it was even worse than I thought it would be. Another example, their training book states a certain number of days of training for each procedure and you have to sign that you got it. My manager cut down my training days and made me sign the form that I had got the full amount.
