Pros

Stable position, although there is no chance of growing within the company or learning new technologies. The managers are nice, but most of them are there before ION acquired the company

Cons

The company offers meager salaries to new employees - around more than 10K less than the other companies. Sometimes they propose something, but when signing the contract, they offer less than what they promised, so be careful when signing. Also, there is no benefit as they do not provide RTTs, and thus, you will have fewer holidays per year. There is no possibility of growing in the company since they had very few opening positions in the last years. The technologies used are old, and there is nothing to learn for new employees. The code went through several refactoring processes and is hard to follow.

Pros

I get to work from home and have a grand-fathered in unlimited PTO policy. And that's about it.

Cons

RUN. This is just a horrible company to work for. Either you are living in constant fear of being fired or you are so overworked you feel like you have to work 60 hours a week just to do the bare minimum. The CEO, Andrea, is just gutting everything, doing mass layoffs over and over again. He has no clear visit for the company, goal posts keep changing, and everyone is setup to fail.
