Pros

Pros include: - Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a solid way to start your career. LDP analysts are treated well, given responsibility beyond their years, and provided excellent learning opportunities. (Part of this, however, is because so many senior employees have left so they rely on junior employees to fill their shoes quickly.) - ION is a much more significant player in the world's financial system than many people realize. As a result, many client projects involve important operations with high-profile clients. - Colleagues are generally very bright and engaged - Employee engagement perks have increased in recent years. These include frequent social events, sports teams, and beer Fridays.

Cons

Cons include: - Bonuses and compensation reviews were 2 months late....2 years in a row - Almost all company growth is inorganic - Very little actual product innovation occurs - An overall sense that management views employees as a necessary evil - Advancement opportunities are unclear - HR department is almost non-existent

Pros

I get to work from home and have a grand-fathered in unlimited PTO policy. And that's about it.

Cons

RUN. This is just a horrible company to work for. Either you are living in constant fear of being fired or you are so overworked you feel like you have to work 60 hours a week just to do the bare minimum. The CEO, Andrea, is just gutting everything, doing mass layoffs over and over again. He has no clear visit for the company, goal posts keep changing, and everyone is setup to fail.
