      Pros

      Focused on customer service, somewhat flexible schedule

      Cons

      Very focused on quantity rather than quality. I was scolded if I didn't do every haircut in 12-15 minutes. Also, the owners didn't seem to really care much about stylists, we were treated as if we were replaceable. Only one opportunity for a raise per YEAR, and the raise was for 25 cents. No set lunches, and even after standing for 9 hours I would still be told 'you CAN take a half hour lunch but we highly recommend only taking 10-15 minutes.' The pay was decent.

      We are sorry you had this experience. Our cutting system and advised haircut times are based on data we've collected for years that shows the optimal time it should take to complete a haircut.       Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

      Cons

      Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.

      Pros

      Advanced education by Great clips inc is some of the best in the industry.

      Cons

      Work-life balance. Heavy focus on weekends and holidays make it difficult to spend time with family and friends.
