      Pros

      Guaranteed hourly wage as opposed to commission like most salons

      Cons

      If you are serious about being in the hair industry I would avoid this job. They teach you how to badly cut hair in a very short amount of time. Actually the faster you cut hair and burn and turn clients the more money you make. Great for you, but terrible for the client.

      Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

      Cons

      Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.

      Horrible coworkers. Horrible management. Horrible franchise owners.
