Pros
I started my career in the IGNITE Rotational Program, which is a three years rotational program where you will get experience in multiple departments and multiple sites within the flow control sector. It is a great way to start your career since you will get a fast-track experience that could position you in a leadership role. My first rotation was in Chesapeake, VA. The people and the leadership on this site are amazing, and they push you to unleash your potential. Also, I'm impressed with their safety culture. Flowserve put a lot of time and effort into making safety a priority. Furthermore, the learning and growth opportunities at Flowserve are amazing. My curve of learning has been exponential since I started last year (2021). Cons
The only downside of the IGNITE Rotational Program is that you are not able to choose the location and the assignment for each rotation. However, it is a great opportunity to discover which type of role you would like to have after completing the program.
