Pros

Meeting new people in different industries. Getting exposure to different jobs and environments Learning more about company struggles .

Cons

When you work in any of the ny locations. You drive your own vehicle A LOT with no reimbursement on gas, tolls, mileage. Awful Pay/Commission structure - Low Pay Base, and Only getting paid once the job is filled which could take months depending on the recruiter filling the position and how hard that recruiter works to get it filled. Then the Associate being must be interested in the position and like and accepted by the client. It’s a long ridiculous process and this should be reviewed in all offices not just in NY. Bad management - The owner in my office was more about herself than the team. Always “i did this, i did that” never a “WE as a team accomplished that” There’s a lot more i can share but I’m thankful to not be working for this company anymore, or the office that i was in.

Pros

The owner, Jessica, is fantastic as is the sales manager, Kirby. It can be a fun environment and putting people in a position to succeed is always rewarding.

Cons

Employees are not held to any sort of reasonable professional standard. Where it directly impacted this role at the time was that at least 25 hours every week were spent essentially begging employees to turn in time cards rather than doing anything productive. Standards seemed pretty inconsistent at times. The company felt a little aimless. There were several conflicting plans for the future. My understanding is that in the six months after my separation, they more or less replaced the entire staff for various reasons. Maybe they got it figured out now.
