One of the biggest software companies in the world. It gives people the opportunity to work in almost any area, offering great career development opportunities.
Cons
The company is undergoing a big crisis now. It adopted too much of a defensive mode to reduce costs and short term investment plans to increase sales, not paying much attention to future technology evolution. Decision makers are 100% business oriented, while technology and R&D is taking a secondary role, not in charge of any decisions. Do not expect management or business people to understand technology at all, and do not expect a brilliant career if you are a technical expert. A huge mistake for a technology company that forgot about its roots.
