Pros
Coworkers are intelligent, hard working people. The company is an industry leader and is able to have a large positive impact. They generally prefer to hire from internal candidates or interns so if you can get your foot in the door, there is a lot of internal mobility between departments/ business lines.
Cons
Hiring and backfilling process is incredibly slow, so if someone leaves your team you will have to pick up the slack for a while.
