My manager was the incarnation of Satan. She was discouraging and condescending. I did not apply for the position I was given. I was placed into that position right out of college. I made it very clear that I didn't know how to perform. The manager provided no training or mentorship. I struggled for months before asking if I could transfer. HR couldn't do anything for me, so I quit.
