Pros

DBGT has great benefits packages, reasonable pay packages. The team I worked with in Cary was great. Work hours were relatively manageable.

Cons

There are not enough resources for self learning. Very few CBTs available. Relatively few trainings held in classroom as well, other than the ones pushed down from management. DBGT is a separate legal entity - meant for software development for the bank. Downside, it got disconnected from the business and employees lack exposure to business knowledge and requirements, yet the organisation as a whole is just as regulated as the business, coz its still a bank. Makes it extremely hard to actually work and get ahead in your career. I have tried networking extremely well across the organisation, but DBGT has too many strategic issues, leading to a lot of internal politics to fight against, to get anything done.

Pros

Annual raises and variable bonuses, Hybrid schedule, kind people, lots of events for making connections

Cons

Difficult to get an interview unless you have a referral. Otherwise not really any cons, I’ve only been here for a year so can’t really speak yet to any hindrances that might come when trying to get promoted, etc.
