Pros

Some of the company initiatives they’re working on are genuinely exciting and some departments are quite advanced so you can learn a lot. There are progression opportunities if you work there for many years and make friends with directors

Cons

It’s a very hierarchical company with lots of manager who micro manage other managers and are more interested in their own progression and visibility than leading and developing teams. Senior management loves to change direction and demand a ton of additional work for their teams setting completely random targets and deadlines. Salary and benefits are a joke (especially the health insurance plan), no equity available unless you’re a director, heavy control and micro management of employees with mandatory RTO (even if you mostly work with teams in other countries) and heavy manipulation tactics where it’s easy to blame employees for managers’ incompetence. Also theyre merging with doordash so layoffs will be coming soon

Pros

The company is presented as a young and dynamic environment, at least from an external communication point of view.

Cons

Unfortunately, the internal reality is very different. Career progression mainly favors people who are close to management or who know how to please the right individuals, while meritocracy clearly comes second. Losing valuable employees does not seem to concern upper management at all. Many department heads lack experience and competence, which leads to constant issues, misunderstandings, and organizational problems that directly impact daily work and team morale. The company promotes itself as “young and dynamic,” yet hires employees over 60 whose experience does not appear to be properly assessed or effectively leveraged, creating a strong inconsistency between image and reality. Salaries are not competitive compared to the market. Salary increases and bonuses are very low and demotivating. Benefits are either almost non-existent or purely symbolic.
