Good opportunities to see more than one customer, or in the same place to be involved in different projects

The only management need is someone good enough to fill a gap in the project and make the customer satisfied (or illude). If the project is not of your interest, no one cares. And it can be that your career/degrees are way over unuseful if your duties are of the lowest professional profile.
