Ridiculous experience - Data Engineer Capgemini Employee Review

Not sure if others had this experience but I didn’t learn a thing in my two years there. I was assigned to multiple BS projects. One included outlining Vegas parking lots in google maps. I never got to actually work on a project in my field which left me with no experience even after two full years of employment. I spent more time on coursera than on actual projects. It was an extremely isolating experience. I would schedule meetings with my manager in effort to find meaningful work and he wouldn't respond. Was finally laid off (on my birthday) which I consider a blessing in disguise.
