Pros
Induction was ok, followed by training in London and sample sale at Horseferry House
Cons
sadly Burberry hired "managers" that seemed to have never managed people before. I wonder how these even made it through the cut. Some managers are from Big4 or other big brands however this does not warrant any quality all along. I guess these guys only know in theory about SSCs or how to truly motivate staff. Sadly just arrogance in abundance. Atmosphere is very toxic and sadly just blame and shame. Best are the morning huddles that everybody has to attend, where whatever manager praise themselves/ each other. The people who actually do the work get a murky smile. However, everybody has to mark on a board how one is feeling that particular day. Yes you guessed it, like in elementary school! A lot of abuse from managers as they demand the impossible. If you speak up, you get the boot. Culture/ Values are only on paper. In London was real Burberry and I liked it. In Leeds ... no, that is not Burberry. An iconic British brand in disarray run by children! Stay away from this mess and run!
