Don’t be fooled by benefits and the public advertising of how exceptional the company is. Management is rotten to the core. Managers hold a periodic satisfaction survey they pretend to use to address problems, but they actually ignore them. They say they value work-life balance, but you’ll often notice that they praise people that work around the clock, that candidates that give importance to work-life balance get rejected, that people that don’t work enough are fired while others (recruiters, engineers, any role!) stay in the office until late, but not on public events like hiring events or when clients visit the office because it is strongly discourage for public image! Managers sometimes perform some improvements, yes, but the main issues stay. There is simply too much pressure, internal competition, and incompetence among managers, making this company an unhealthy environment. Managers publicly praise transparency, but you'll often hear rumours at the office about something not made public and be asked to keep it secret. People will complain about you anonymously or indirectly, stub in the back, and other awful things. Managers say we are a family and we are all united, but there are many complains between one team and another, a lot of gossip and childish behaviour, and exploitation. All the problems are advertised as to be important for the success and excellency of the company, and that in exchange you are paid and given benefits above the average and asked a lot in return. But this is just unhealthy. Many people accept it because they are made believe this is paradise, because they don’t have many other chances to find another job (as for recruiters or marketers) or because they are blinded by the benefits. But if you look carefully, this company is not what what it looks like. Don’t be fooled and run away before it’s too late. Accept other job offers if you have them, or you will regret it and your health will be compromised.
