Barclays provides strong industry exposure , but the workplace culture is undermined by unhealthy practices. Office politics and favoritism are common, and genuine contributions often go unrecognized due to credit stealing. My manager repeatedly asked me to leave the organization, which was discouraging and created a hostile environment. Even after completing challenging work, there was no encouragement or appreciation. When positive outcomes occurred, the manager took credit, but when issues arose, colleagues were blamed. A more transparent recognition system, constructive leadership, and fair treatment of employees would greatly improve morale and collaboration.
