Pros
Flexible hours, good training and events from the corporate office, great business model to mold your selling style, because they encourage you to listen and not just be pushy. Club culture and opportunity to help people is amazing, makes you remember why you got in the business in the first place.
Cons
Compensation isn't encompassing for the work a lot of the GM's will have to do, as you basically own the club with none of the perks of being an owner. Since most clubs are franchised and independently owned, the opportunity for advancement and promotions are cloudy, at best. There seems to be a disconnect between the corporate office and their franchisees that maybe aren't performing up to their standards. No real system or real time help for a Manager that maybe has a club owner who isn't engaged, and can perform duties relating to the business that only you can.
