You hear a lot of differing opinions about Accenture. The truth is, since it's such a large company, everything depends on which project and management team you end up with. I started working at Accenture at a young age, and it was also my first work experience. The environment I found myself in had good management and solid projects. I had the opportunity to grow a lot and learn many things that helped me develop as a professional.
Cons
Since it's such a large company, it's easy to end up in the background if you don't meet certain "unspoken standards" — the kind of things that aren't explicitly required, but it's clear when you're "disappointing" management. Depending on the project, it's also possible to be among the most deserving people and still not receive a promotion.
