Pros

The Perks we receive from the job like traveling, and staying in a hotel while getting frequent flier miles and hotel points. The work is never boring, we get to pick different projects around the country and even internationally. People in the company respect each other, and the willingness to help others whenever possible. The ability to pick up different skills and become the jack of all trades while going through multiple projects. Work life balance is respected by the senior management, we get 25 days of paid time off per year compare to the standard 15 days offered by other companies.

Cons

The downsides of working at Accenture would be the growth oppotunity, the annual performance rating system is done on a ladder system. We are rated by our project, and then on the account level, and finally on the company level. If you are rated at the very top on your account level, there is still the possibility to downgrade when you get rated to the next level. The amount of employee around the globe makes it very difficult to get the best deserving rating within the company. This laddering system makes it harder for the average Joe to make it through the system.

Pros

Great way to get experience working with social media companies, learned a lot about politics, news, advertising, social media company, marketing, job postings and tech sales. In the project I was part of I learned a lot about the world. Most of my bosses were genuinely amazing but I did cycle through a good few. You learn a lot about working with fortune 100 clients. The consultants are nice to work with. You get experience training people, working with a wide variety of teams. Pretty good pay for my experience at the time, the hiring team is very nice and the hiring process was easy. Also I was given a therapist due to the nature of the work. Also got an hour of paid wellness, which was nice but I think that just extended the workday by one hour for no real reason. It does feel like important and purposeful work.

Cons

The project I was assigned to was not as traumatic as some other ones thankfully. But you see a lot of things, you see how crazy the world and the internet can be, which in these times can be hard to watch. I didn't get an annual raise.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
