Literally cannot think of any.

Everything is wrong with this company. They are so cheap you don't even get your own LinkedIn recruiter account. Or maybe it's because they know you will quit in less than a year. Recruitment is also a fancy word for what is really just personal information collection. If you're an engineer candidate don't be surprised we don't talk in details about the job descriptions Alten has for you => there aren't any ! We say we have a lot of them in different sectors but it's not true. Business Managers collect CVs they can show to clients, pretending these candidates are part of their team, so they can gain business. Alten lies to his clients and to all candidates. As recruiters, we have objectives on how many candidates we call every day. Every Friday is a one to one meeting when you need to justify your results. The targets are unrealistic, don't make sense and we all work on the same jobboards. So we just jump on any new CV we can find to reach our target, wether we have a job for you or not (usually we don't). So your day to day job is to call as many people as you can, as if you were in a call center, to trick candidates to do an interview when you have no job for them. You're wasting the candidates' time at his finest and give them pure fake hope. The working environment is also dreadful. The working hours are 9 am to 6 pm. But if you have the audacity to try to leave at 5.55 pm one day although you didn't take any small break all day, you get a nasty reminder you don't get to leave 5 minutes early as it's not professional. To sum up, if you want to keep a clear conscience and be a minimum valued, don't join Alten.

Thank you for you review. Glassdoor is an open platform enabling employees to write comments and rate their current and/or previous companies in order to give them the opportunity to improve. It is thus necessary to keep a strong level of measure and seriousness in the feedback provided. The lack of honesty and accuracy of the here above comment, cannot unfortunately be considered as a constructive feedback and the foundation of improvements but simply as the spread of unjustified and dangerous hatred. However, I believe it is necessary to address some of the points through a factual way. Means: we offer all employees various materials and support in order to help them perform their duties to the highest standards. LinkedIn recruiter licenses are actually available to all ALTEN Ltd recruiters without exception. Anybody can check that for themselves by looking at their LinkedIn profiles. Role and objectives: joining ALTEN Ltd as a recruiter, you are accepting the role as an ‘in-house recruiter’, which is very different to an agency recruiter. Your objective is to identify talented candidates who are the right fight a consultant job, for the team and company as a whole. Over the course of the last 5 years, we managed to develop our customer portfolio tremendously, and grew from around 30 projects to hundreds of projects. You will obviously understand such an achievement would not have been possible if we had "no job" for candidates as you state. We of course set ambitious targets and objectives to meet the company's ambitions as well as develop you as a person. We set a strong process for recruiters to be guided through their role and responsibilities, with a weekly one to one coaching session with an Experienced Recruiter or Senior Recruiter. Let me clarify that the purpose of this meeting is not for you to justify your results, but for your coach to help you analyse why the targets were not reached if that was the case, and help you adjust where necessary to perform better if necessary. Lying to clients and candidates: having been able to almost double our size every year for the last 5 years, you may imagine that this has only been achieved by putting the interests of our clients, candidates and employees first. We have no interest in lying to them. Work environment: as every company, we set working hours at ALTEN. Wherever necessary we grant people flexibility, as long as it is part of a transparent communication with your manager. In a nutshell, I can see that most of these topics are the fruit of a lack of communication and misinformation about the company. I actually identify this as an improvement opportunity. Your review tells me that: Although Alten is striving to make sure all necessary messages, processes and policies are communicated on the most accurate way, it seems important to keep on getting better at it. On the longer run, I would advise you to tackle any issue/frustration at its ignition so that it does not become disproportionate.
