Pros
Not a ton. It's nice that it's a large company, but in tech recruiting candidates don't really care about the size of the recruiting firm. They just want the best opportunity with the best pay. There are some large accounts that have some good recs too which is a plus.
Cons
The phrase "This is not just an 8-5 job" is said almost daily. Tons of layoffs and the culture being built by new management is extremely toxic. The managing director spends some random mornings just yelling at the team. No encouragement, no training, just yelling about numbers on a spreadsheet. I understand the hiring market is tough, and if numbers are low that's a huge concern, but the job of good management is to try and find the problem and train/mentor employees to overcome it. Instead, they just attack you and tell you how replaceable you are. There's been about 3 different VPs between 2022 and 2023, a couple of different managing directors, couple of different recruiting directors. Overall, it's just a mess of a company at the moment and management is panicking. I would recommend accepting any other job for 10k less of a base salary to avoid this dumpster fire.
