Pros

Working for Ernst & Young was like earning a Masters Degree in fast forward. A high level of intelligence and dedication is demanded and returned to the staff. Everyone is treated respectfully yet it is a very intense environment. You can really shine in a high energy environment and gain a lot of knowledge in short periods of time.

Cons

Being an intense place to work, the stress level can be high and the hours can be long. However the rewards and the knowledge lasts a long time.

Pros

Great Culture. Very collaboative environement working on even competitive proposals between different practices. You may spend long hours at work but these are some of the best people to work with that you will want to engage socially as well.

Cons

Salaries are discounted compared to what you could earn in industry for similar years of experince. Several people leave for higher salaries but retun when they find that the culture was better at EY.
