Pros

Great technical team members to work with. Good vacation policy.

Cons

Does not treat employees with respect when they resign. Poor retention policy. HR has no processes in place to discuss with employees why they are leaving. Current DB employees should be aware that DB has no policy of paying for accrued vacation not used. Use up all your vacation before you resign.

Pros

Full-time hours and OT. The break room has all you can drink coffee and tea free of charge but the cushions are all torn up and it's usually a mess.

Cons

The bank uses mostly agency staff - Advantage Resources in Costa Mesa. Their staff is great. However, no benefits, no vacation time, you miss a day and are put on the s list. The VP over the vault is a dragon! Pounds on bathroom stall if you are in there too long. in the vault, only the VP and senior supervisor are permanent DB staff. The hundred other staff are at-will agency staff.

Pros

Some good people interested in the well being of the bank and its products. I think the bank is a good starting platform for anyone. It has a good reputation. Good work life balance and reasonable mobility Benefits are just ok, not great. They offer a lot of benefits, but on the low end of the scale.

Cons

Lots of people interested in self promotion and stardom. Sabotaging your projects and going behind one's back is not uncommon. Some leads hide behind the phrase "team effort" or "team" to avoid giving well deserved individual credit. Most important decisions are made in London or NY, leaving only low level autonomy to Cary. No raises or bonuses in the two years I spent there.
