Pros

True meritocracy - you work hard you get rewarded. Entrepreneurial culture, you get to try and explore. Get risk management tools in place

Cons

Bureaucratic - The NY offices did not quite have the open door policy. Management was not transparent as is the case I would imagine at other investment banks

Pros

The company is large and well-respected. They offer great benefits, very generous maternity leave. I felt very well taken-care-of by the company. I never saw any discrimination or unfair treatment of employees. Everyone behaved professionally, in my experience.

Cons

I really don't have any problem with the company itself. The only problems I had were the usual complaints about co-workers and a few managers I'd had over the years. The manager I had when I left the company was terrific, so I can't really complain.
