Pros

Good work life balance and nothing else

Cons

Back office for London, no real leadership required in Dublin, just follow whatever they ask to do from London. The worse part is that there's no people culture: zero. The main motive is that everybody thinks for themselves with very little care for the team. While I was there I witnessed several abused from directors towards other staff members, some quite serious, but, although complains were raised, nothing really happened. The level of politics, especially from those in UK, is simply unsustainable and wears off after a few months. People tend to run away within 10/18 months. The level of technology in use is very conservative, even if Dublin is supposed to be a center of excellence. The pace of technology adoption is embarrassingly slow.

Pros

Wide range of responsibilities and roles with plenty of face time with front office. This has brought about opportunities of moves into Front Office

Cons

Lots of politics within the bank and a culture of paying a lot more external recruits and contractors whilst under paying the internal employees

Pros

I haven't been in company for single day as HR didn't completed his formalities from his side.

Cons

Will tell you whole story and then you find out the cons. I got selected and got sufficient hike. HR forced me to resign and buy out the notice period as the requirement was at earliest. So I did the same as HR told me. Now, Before 2 days of joining date I asked him what documents need to carried at the time of joining, on which he said we need more documents without which your joining can not happen. Here there was no HR initiative as it was his work where as on top of that he was asking me the document at the time of joining. And without document your joining wont happen. I was shocked and surprised. I asked them why you didn't intimated it before. Don't trust HR of this company.
