      Pros

      You can make a career even if you are a total idiot, as long as you stay at work more than you stay at home. Nobody cares if you don't do much as long as you stay at work long enough

      Cons

      Any idiot makes a career. The working hours are long (not because you actually have stuff to do) and they try to make you feel guilty when you go home at 18, even if you don't have anything (at all) to do. The company culture kinda sucks. Everything seems kind of fake and just made so that you work longer hours (by work I mean stay in the office, you don't actually need to work that much) Management (mostly, some managers are actually decent) is bad due to the "promote everyone after enough time" policy

      - Great and good skilled people within the firm - Looks great on a CV - Good variety of projects

      Cons

      - Ridiculous salary compared to the financial services industry and for the commitment, talent, and hard work expected - Terrible work/life balance - The performance evaluation process is highly subjective. Your counselor may give you a high rating, but you'll be downgraded by a consensus panel mainly because the partners don't want to give out good pay increases and bonuses - Useless required training
