The date today is the 9th of September 2020. India experienced the highest number of Covid 19 cases (90,000 - registered) ever in the world just a few days back.
Karnataka is one of the worst hit states in the country, and Bangalore being the capital is one of the biggest contributors.
The situation is and will get only worse from now. More numbers. More cases. More problems. More deaths.
At a time where ever company - big and small - are requesting employees to work from home, Decathalon is forcing us to go back to work. To be physically present.
Let me start by saying that all employees received emails from top management asking us to go back to office this week.
Sports business has more touch points than any other. People walk-in and they want to try things out before buying.

How unfair is this racist system?
Apart from that, they have zero employee benefits. The pay is very very very bad. They make us work for peanuts. No medical insurance.
What is the HR department doing? No you're wrong! Because there is no HR department in the first place. Because they undermine Human Resource.
This is a quintessential example of a place that believes in its products more than the people who make them, manage them, and sell them.
The absolute worst nightmare.
