Pros

Most people were nice and easy to get along with. Office politics here and there but that happens everywhere. Easy parking, I guess?

Cons

Sometimes you just want to go home and scream into a pillow. Considering the job doesn't require much mental capacity to actually do (meaning you could pretty much auto pilot the entire time if you wanted) the job sucked. Unless you were management or Team Leader nobody higher up gave a stuff about you. If you have a problem, a complaint or a concern it's not their problem. Speaking of management, useless. They pretty much got to their position by staying with the company for x number of years, not because they could actually do the job they're required to do. When the Team Leader is asking a member of staff how to do something, something you do pretty much every day something is wrong. When you get moaned at, in front of everybody for being "an hour late" only to realize you're not late your shift times were changed and they were too lazy to check their emails. Don't expect an apology though because they can do no wrong. I'm not even sure there's a point to Team Leaders, they literally do nothing but micromanage the shift. Sometimes making it worse, majority of the time wasting peoples time. No point for a start and end time for higher ups, they just show up and leave when they want. There's periods of time were you can't find a Team Leader because they're not on site so the whole shift comes to a halt. But it's your fault, not theirs remember. Don't expect to be paid a decent wage, it's minimum. Actually don't expect your pay to be correct. The number of times people were paid higher or lower than they should have been and it taking four-five months to sort out is outstanding. Favoritism, sexism, racism and homophobia plague this place. If the Team Leader likes you, even if you couldn't do the job to save your life they loved you and would cut you more slack than a fat kid cuts cake at a party. If they dislike you though, don't expect a thank you for working hard. I saw a member of staff who was having computer problems, despite their details being correct and despite the IT guys trying other accounts. Clearly a computer problem and not a network problem. Not five minutes later a member of Management comes along swinging their weight around telling them to sort it out and stop wasting time. How about actually helping? The network is disgusting, it's never working correctly because they break it all the time. You can only access the intranet on certain computers, so just hope you don't need to send or check your emails any time soon. Need to reset your password? Well get on the phone to Malissa for the next hour because they can't do it for you. And an hour is being generous, expect to be moaned at for wasting time too. Mandatory log sheets that everybody lies on. Went to the toilet? Log it. Smoke break? Log it. Fetching an Engineer? Log it. Reboot your PC? Log it. You get the point. Except everybody does this at the end of shift, with fake times and whats worse is management know this. They know it's all worth nothing because nobody tells the truth. So what's the point? Probably so a manager can act busy all day by inputting useless data into a database that'll never get looked at because nobody cares. If it wasn't for the people and my kid I would've legged it day one. I could go on about how bad it is to work here. Just run for the hills.

Pros

Adequate benefits, 401k matching, good pay, Great talent in teams

Cons

I have been with these companies doing the same tasks for over 22 years and now that I am only 4 years from retirement, they have decided to WFR me with NO...I repeat...NO package, NO benefits, NO severance pay. The CEO is Mike Lawrie, who just about ran CSC into the ground. In the past 2 months there have been some very qualified and talented people fall by the way side just to make the numbers look good. DXC, does NOT care about people or whose lives they destroy. If the parent corporation of CSC, fired Mike Lawrie, this company may have a chance to succeed.
