Do Not Work Here

Pros

There really are no pros of working at DXC except a paycheck.

Cons

The upper leadership really does not seem to care what they do to make employees lives miserable. The layoffs continue in droves. If they want to hire you, it's only because you are coming in for a low salary and they can fire a more expensive person. The focus on delivery and client satisfaction is non-existent. Everything is about sales and financials, period. EVERYTHING. Executives have left in droves and now long-term, experienced worker bees are fed up and leaving. No salary increases for years. No bonuses. No perks whatsoever. Bosses are toxic because they are stressed beyond belief. Just continue to look somewhere else, really.

Pros

In my experience, direct management and the level above are good. Colleagues are friendly and have a good understanding in the areas they support. If you are lucky enough to be in one of the 5 preferred offices, then your experience of the company could be good (see the five star reviews).

Cons

There are way too many to be able to list them all here, but some examples are : * Quarterly Workforce Reduction (WFR) programme. Some employees have been at risk 8 times in the past two years. * ‘Co-location’ strategy. If you carry out business support, there is only one location south of Liverpool. * Working from home was available, but now being removed due to the above two issues. * No pay increases, even cost of living, for over four years. No bonuses. * Performance reviews are absolutely pointless, as under achievers and those that exceed expectations are treated the same. * Due to the first two points, experienced employees are leaving at an alarming rate, which is severely affecting contracts or causing contracts to escalate poor service. * Travel bans. * Unbelievable amount of red tape to get anything done or approved. * Employee morale is low to non-existent. * Absolutely no loyalty to staff. * If you get invited to an ‘all hands’ meeting, prepare for points one and two.

Pros

Unlimited PTO - schedule flexibility - ability to work from home unless they need to use that as a part of the reason to eliminate your role

Cons

No compensation increases or bonuses. The CEO and HR lead are both very uninspiring. Employees are treated as just another cost component and not an asset. Not enough diversity in executive leadership. "Town Hall" meetings are conducted by CEO and no questions are answered while he angrily communicates his latest message and the HR lead continues to blame the staff for any online bad reviews or negative opinions of the company.
