Pros

Benefits which they had to honour on TUPE Working from home

Cons

Poor management, no pay rise, disorganised, low morale in UK, job constantly under threat of being moved abroad. Unrealistic target setting, no account ability. Dxc,like many other IT service providers, continue to offer reduced costs to customers but the quality also suffers. Overly bureaucratic. Takes weeks to perform simple tasks Profits before people

Pros

Work from home is the only pro

This is one of the worst company to work for, Meg threw all IT employees out to merge with CSC. entire top management is from CSC with no clear vision and direction. People are fired every thursday and Friday with no criteria, no raise, no bonus, very bad attitue towards employees, complete chaos as employees are forced to work 6-7 projects at same time and if you mention that its not logical or possible you are told its management decision, either work or get fired.

Flexible benefits package and pension contribution. Occasional opportunity to work at home.

Cons

Zero chance of progression. Pay rise freeze. Freeze on bonuses for front line delivery staff (not sales or exec level I suspect). Quarterly "workforce reduction" with no end in sight to VR then CR offers going on all around you. Will I be next?? No job security, talent leaving in droves. From our viewpoint we see reduced workload coming in from the major clients overall but we don't seem to see any concerns from management other than the quarterly culls to resolve this. Every few months another recruitment drive begins in an attempt to replace a handful of lucky ones who jumped ship, rather than any attempt at staff retention. No training budget and no time to do any training anyway. Extremely poor and inefficient operational processes leading to lots of frustration and wasted time/effort/duplication. Little done to improve or actually listen to people doing the work and generating revenue on how to improve things. I could go on, but I think you get the picture... sad to say but I cannot recommend this as a healthy place to work. Avoid if you can.
