Pros

After a rigorous recruitment process, the successful applicant will be rewarded with a workplace filled with opportunities, as well as a team of friendly, highly skilled work mates. You can expect to be working with the latest cloud technologies and with high-value tier-1 clients across a range of industries. The culture is very much one of collaboration, and everyone's ideas are are valued - employees are encouraged to contribute where they can. DWS have implemented a very structured approach to career advancement, outlining the skills and behaviours necessary to advance from graduate through to management. There is also a strong emphasis on self education, and employees are rewarded for completing certifications.

Cons

I can't think of any at this point.

Pros

A permanent role is just the pros of this company, other mentioned points in job ads are just for marketing!

Cons

Lack of professional behaviour in managers, their flat org chart makes a lot of problems for consultants.

Pros

Good people. The recruitment process and aptitude test they vet candidates with ended up making for good colleagues.

Cons

When I worked there it was a body shop. Not much chance of promotion unless you left and came back in a higher role. The company was trying to expand at the time with an ambitious new CEO (not Danny Wallis). It failed and a lot of people's jobs were made redundant.

Thank you very much for your review. DWS has changed (we feel, very much for the better) in recent years, and have built on the past to develop into the company we are today - one which supports and develops consultant staff though our internal learning and development opportunities, taking them as far as someone wishes to go in their career
