Business Outlook
Pros
Very friendly culture and surrounded by lots of capable people. Chance to contribute if you are willing and able. Project Managers/Line Management good at being flexible in terms of hours as long as you deliver.
Cons
Promotions and appraisals process is opaque. Difficult to understand why some decisions made. Visibility within company and with peers is very important to allow promotion; i.e. just delivering at a very high level on your project work is not enough. The balance here is not quite right between core delivery and community contribution.
