Everything depends on how your manager is. 3 to 5% hike early, worst than almost every company HR system is very bad, only 1 or 2 BHR for whole building, they will not meet you even after couple of years. No transport. No additional allowances apart form salary. These all for BSV employees

Pros

Great work-life balance. Good variety of work. Wonderful work culture: independent contribution. Micromanagement is very minimal.

Cons

Compensation is the saddest part especially at resource level. The annual hike/appraisal is biased since it is based on % hike and that is unfair for different salary slabs. Sometime the partiality in management decisions are blatantly visible especially in terms of hikes, rewards & recruitment.
