Cons

they do not value employees. they also do not promote much from within. most managers usually have no clue about running their stores

Pros

The people are generally great, especially the department specialists who have been there a while and know how everything works. There are lots of contests and fun stuff during the year to keep the staff motivated and dynamic. It's a rigorous environment with so much to learn and they give you the tools: hands-on tutorials from head office or licensee staff, video tutorials, an online interface where you sign-in and can instantly access everything and everyone in the company. If you're looking to get started in fashion or retail its a great experience. It will teach you how collections and merchandising work, and even some of the more complex stuff: they set aside time for employees to view the annual report stock-holder's meeting on the ipads. If you're willing to devote the time to it, you can make a lot on commission.

Cons

The work hours are insane, which can put everyone on edge even if they're not highly-strung by nature. The self-presentation guidelines are psychotic: they will regulate everything from high-lights to nail-polish colours, with little uniform details such as how many buttons can be open on your shirt closely monitored. The worst part is they don't give references for low-level employees.
