Pros

Discount, insurance, pay is decent and commission okay. You learn a lot about merchandizing because you basically have to do everything.

Cons

Management looks the other way when it comes to employees working long hours with no breaks. Constantly understaffed. All the tools needed at work need to be fixed. No training of new hire.

Pros

Great benefits in terms of vacation, sick, and personal time. Great benefits with a good 401k match plan. They supply you with uniforms which is helpful. Corporate was very involved in our store and it was always great to build relationships with them.

Cons

With most retailers I've experienced, your hours are never end at 40 hours per week. You are sometimes asked to come in on days of for 'meetings' but this is not a regular occurrence.
