Many incompetent staff especially on mid-management level Lack of training for new employees Big staff turnover due to stressful working environment and lack of progression Performance reviews are a joke and a formality. Managers are discouraged from giving all members of their teams good grades, grades are subjective and often based on the personal opinion of the manager about the employee not the quality of work. Performance review doesn't impact career progression. Unless you are on a senior level, forget about salary increases or bonuses.
