Pros

Incredibly talented, passionate and creative colleagues across the business. Fast-paced but friendly environment. Sample Sales are excellent. Summer Fridays is possibly the best work perk ever. Amazing brand and product that you feel proud to work for, and that looks good in the eyes of future employees.

Cons

Cronyism - unqualified people promoted based on who they know and their ability to shmooze, not what they know. Senior managers unwilling to resolve issues. Complete lack of defined roles, responsibilities and accountability. Few opportunities for progression. Pay - very hard to get your market rate and equally hard to get a pay rise once in. Senior Management make the decisions but it's the staff below that take the hit when they need to cut costs i.e. no bonuses, lower quality lunches.

Pros

Some great employee benefits such as free lunches, half day Fridays in the summer, staff discount, sample sales, 3rd party discounts

Cons

Poor opportunities for progression, staff can be treated fairly badly and pay is low, all of which seem to result in a high turnover of staff.
