too much office politics, promotion or transfer is not based on work performance, rather personal favors. work can be boring.

Pros

It was a place full of smart colleagues, great resources and terrific access. The pay was good and the benefits were comprehensive.

Cons

I was one of many who left when Bloomberg took over the magazine. I can't speak to the culture of the place now.
